Rotary is open to anyone, male or female, working or retired from a background in, |

| and from any culture, political or religious persuasion | ||
| To meet the guidelines of Rotary International, all clubs aim to have a broad mix of members with different backgrounds and rarely have two members from the same discipline or profession, (but exceptions exist). However, even if we cannot accommodate a member, we can refer to other clubs in the area that may help. | ||
| Members should endeavour to attend the weekly lunchtime meetings regularly and they are expected to contribute their skills and experience, in support of the aims of Rotary. | ||

| Usually, anyone who has expressed an interest, is invited to join us at lunch, or a social event, to see if they then feel that Rotary is suitable for them. It is important that all members enjoy their weekly Rotary meetings as this is at the heart of all the work and fun. | ||
